SFRA Membership

Our community is home to over 700 households and is proudly represented by the Sherwood Forrest Residents Association (SFRA).

Membership Categories

All homeowners in Sherwood Forrest are automatically considered ‘Non-Active Members’ of the SFRA.
To be considered an ‘Active Member’ of the SFRA, an annual membership fee of $30 is required ($30 is the minimum fee, but more is always welcome to help fund our activities and events).
Both Non-Active and Active SFRA members have access to the SFRA’s regular communication channels (website, emails, newsletters and Facebook page). Also, all members are invited and encouraged to participate in sponsored events and the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which takes place in the fall.

Benefits of Active Membership

Active Members of the SFRA:

  • Have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting (AGM)

  • May run for elected positions within the SFRA

  • Have the ability to invoke the Complaint Resolution Process

To become an Active Member, residents are asked to pay their annual membership fee by Interac e-Transfer to SFRAtreasury@gmail.com. Simply follow these steps (the order of the steps may differ slightly depending on your bank):

  1. Login to your online or mobile bank account

  2. Select Interac e-Transfer

  3. Select the account you are transferring funds from

  4. Add SFRA to your Contact List

    Name: SFRA; Email Address: SFRAtreasury@gmail.com

  5. Type in the Amount you are sending (minimum membership fee is $30)

  6. Type in your name, email and address in the Personalized Message area

  7. You will receive a notification once the Interac e-Transfer has been accepted
